Nhan Hoa was founded in 1992 by a group of Vietnamese professionals who responded to the needs of the underserved Vietnamese population. Since then, the clinic has grown in size and in assets.
Currently, the clinic is funded by state, county and private foundations to provide health care services to indigents living in Orange County, California.
We offer mammography, a breast physical exam, and instruction in breast self-examination. Women are advised to get a mammogram by age 40, and annually from age 40 onward. If a woman has a family history of breast cancer, our genetic counselors and physicians will design a personalized screening program for her. Breast exams are performed by a physician or a certificate physician assistant as part of an annual screening. Performing a monthly breast self-examination (BSE) is also a vital component of a woman health maintenance regimen. We provide one-on-one teaching in BSE.
