The Alaska Women's Recovery Project (AWRP) provides community-based, peer-driven, peer-led recovery support activities for women of all ages and ethnic backgrounds and their families. Women involved in the AWRP are in various stages of recovery from alcoholism, substance use or co-occurring mental health disorders. All activities take place at the Gathering Place for Women Recovery Community Center.
